Armory Massage Therapy

Relax. Let go. Let us show you how.

Larissa Roby

“Massage therapy is very relaxing and has meditative qualities that can further connect mind and body. It can also be used as a tool to help prevent, assess, and treat a wide range of concerns.”

Larissa approaches massage therapy from a wellness perspective. Her goal is to allow the client to relax as well as to address specific concerns the client wants to work on. Through effective communication she intends to help the client get in tune with their body and better understand the origin of the concern they are addressing. She then works with the client to develop a plan for treatment and identify possible changes that will improve the client’s overall well-being.

Larissa received her bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Oswego in December of 2009. She majored in wellness management and minored in health science. Prior to her studies at SUNY Oswego, she obtained her massage certification from Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage, earning her license in summer 2006. Since then, most of her experience has come from a spa setting, where she provided massage therapy sessions for relaxation and stress reduction. She is now using her spa experience, as well as the information she learned while studying wellness and health science, to make her sessions productive and well rounded.
